Almost surrounded by Elizabeth,Harney and Cedar Streets, the four tennis courts located at this site are used extensively. These asphalt courts are lighted and are open forplay all year. The open space beside the tennis courts allow for frisbee, touch football, tag, kite flying and spectator seating fortournaments.

Sometimes called Sunset Park, it is located on Gosnold Avenue and consists of approximately three acres with playground equipment, a softball field, a basketball court and an abundance of woods to wander in. Open space provides room for football, soccer, frisbee, tag, etc.

Named in honor of Wilton "Hester" Holmes who coached youngsters in Elizabeth City for thirtyyears and contributed thousands of hours to the recreation movement.This facility is used for baseball. It serves as the home for the Elizabeth City State University Vikings baseball team, as well as, the ElCiPaCa 13-15 Babe Ruth Baseball League and Elizabeth City Red MenBabe Ruth Baseball team. Also, various district and state tournamentsare played on this field each year. The playing area is completelyirrigated and has a Musco lighting system for night play. The turf is Bermuda grass. This field is located behind the Knobbs Creek RecreationCenter along the Knobbs Creek.

Located within seven blocks of downtown Elizabeth City. This park sits on approximately 30 acres. Ithas a 15,800 square foot recreation center, a 4,400 square foot senior center and a nine hole par-3 golf course measuring 800 yards in length.The park also features a picnic and fitness area along the Knobbs Creek, and the Wilton "Hester" Holmes Baseball Field. Horseshoe pits, a children's play area and spacious parking complete the outdoor facilities in this park.

This park was created inconjunction with the Elizabeth City/Pasquotank County School System. It features six lighted tennis courts, two lighted regulation soccer fields and one lighted youth soccer field, one lighted baseball field, one lighted softball field, two sand volleyball courts, a fitness track with exercise stations, a concession stand and bathroom facilities. The park also has a great playground designed especially for younger children. Residents also have access to a regulation track for walking or running.

This location contains 6 little league fields and one middle\high school field. They can be used for baseball or softball. Pasquotank County Parks & Recreation Dept. is in the process of building 5 soccer\football fields, and all of those fields will bebeside River Road.
