Day 1

Hide-N-Wood Gardens
The garden consists of eight raised beds and four elevated beds. Throughout the year you can see demonstrations of intensified gardening techniques on small fruits and vegetables. In addition, portions of the garden have been designed as a Native Plant Habitat by NC NPS.

Will be open to the general public, daylight hours, from March 1st to November 30, 2008. With emphasis on food production by persons with a physical or mental handicap.

Border Collie Demonstration
The border collie is an exceptionally versatile dog breed which can compete in dog sports, perform many dog tricks, retrieve like a Labrador, point like a setter, and swim like a fish. These collies are bred and trained by Miss Calhoun who will put on a demonstration for guests if time permits. The demonstrations have to be scheduled at least ten days in advance.

Day 2

Pasquotank Farmers Market
Visit the Farmers Market where you can get some great organic fruits and vegetables. While you’re there, take the two-hour Farm Tour that is available every Tuesday between 9am or 10am to noon. It is great way to start your mornings.

Open Tuesday, Friday, & Saturday : 8:00 am - 4:00 pm : May-December

Day 3

Downtown Waterfront Market

A weekly celebration of local foods, crafts and activities. Cooking and arts-and-crafts demonstrations. Music and live performances. Everything's happening during May 24th through October 25th, every Saturday from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm!
